Kobdo: A total of 700-800 people will participate in the construction project of the Erdeneburen Hydropower Station.

Reports from the Office of the Provincial Governor of Kobdo on June 10th stated that one of the major projects currently being implemented in Kobdo Province is the Erdeneburen Hydropower Station. The construction project is about to commence. On the 9th of this month, the General Manager of the Erdeneburen Hydropower Station Project of Power Construction Corporation of China-Mongolia and other officials met with the leaders of Kobdo Province.

During the meeting, both sides discussed accelerating the progress of the construction project and other cooperation issues. They proposed involving local citizens in the construction work of the hydropower station, purchasing food and materials locally to promote enterprise development, and conducting transportation through local enterprises, among other things.

According to the project general manager, "It is expected that 700 to 800 people will be working on-site during the construction period. Therefore, we will source food supplies from the locality. We also plan to hire most of the employees locally and organize training and practice for them. The most important thing is to ensure stable employment. Due to the high demand for necessary goods and technical equipment transportation, we are willing to cooperate with companies that meet the requirements."
