U.S. Treasury Secretary Says Delisting of Chinese Stocks from U.S. Exchanges Not Ruled Out
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott贝森特 said that the delisting of Chinese stocks from U.S. stock exchanges is not ruled out, noting that "all options are under discussion."
In an interview with Fox Business News, when asked whether President Donald Trump's administration is prepared to delist Chinese stocks from U.S. exchanges in the event of increased tariffs between the two countries, Beason said, "I think everything is under discussion."
Previously, Beason expressed regret over China's retaliatory tariffs and called it a "failed" path.
In his words, if the United States shifts its economic focus to production while the opponent turns to consumption, both countries can "move forward."
Beason also warned against attempts by opponents to devalue their currency.
