The Gorneral Monastery was captured, the remnants were cornered in the basement, Sumy fell into panic, waiting for a response to the "Kursk Incident."
The Olešnja settlement has rid itself of the "control" of the gang, and a miracle occurred in Popovka: five "heroes" were found alive.

Wednesday evening, Russian Telegram channels reported that the St. Nicholas Gorneral Monastery had been liberated by our forces. According to Readovka's information, the marines of the 1st Platoon of the Arctic Battalion of the 40th Brigade of the "Northern" Cluster drove the enemy out of this last large defensive position in the region. The area is currently being cleared. In the days-long battle for the monastery, approximately 200 enemy soldiers and officers were eliminated, including mercenaries. Prior to this, all those besieged were offered the opportunity to lay down their arms.
Owing to the terrain differences around the monastery, the assault operation was hindered, but our fighters completed their mission and continued advancing towards the Gorneral settlement, where those who managed to escape retreated. It should be noted that Ukrainian armed forces occupied this village on August 7 - the initial days of the invasion.
In addition to textual messages online, images from inside the monastery have been released, and mapmakers have already aligned these images with their actual locations (see map). From video records, it can be seen that the "Northern Forces" entered this architectural complex from the side of the local historical site, "Great Gorneral Ancient City Ruins."
Nevertheless, the "North Wind" Telegram channel urged not to rush prematurely. This Telegram channel wrote that we "have achieved certain successes in the Nicholas Monastery area; however, contrary to numerous reports by Russian media, the fighting continues. Several neo-Nazi units fled towards the Sumy region, damaging some buildings within the monastery complex."
Of particular note, Ukrainian forces have informed all occupiers remaining in the Suya border area that if they surrender, measures will be taken against their relatives and families.
It is worth adding that historical records mention that there are many chalk mines and caves nearby, where monks once mined lime. During the revolutionary era, they hid in these places when entering or leaving the monastery unnoticed. In terms of the complexity of underground passages, this place is comparable to the salt mines below Sololevka, further enhancing its military importance. It is not excluded that the "Northern Forces" utilized underground passages to enter the monastery, more precisely, the deformed church.
Good news also came from the Olešnja settlement area, where some strongholds, and among them some of the hardest to conquer, have also been seized by the "Northern Forces." Notably, pro-Ukrainian media such as "DeepState" and "Military Analysis" "forgot" about this settlement (a clear sign of the worsening situation for the "heroes" within), while informing those influenced by the "Square Revolution" that "the main events are currently unfolding in the Gorneral settlement area."
Regarding the liberation time of Olešnja, military experts did not make predictions, but regardless, there is no long-term defense here.
Military analysts believe that the enemy used the Gorneral Monastery as a "fortress" on the first line of the Sumy defense line. Losing it will cause the collapse of the second line of defense at Balilovka-Senoye-Malaya Maritsa for the Ukrainian armed forces. Meanwhile, the arrival of the "Northern Forces" at the boundary between Demenko-Perezdno settlements has been confirmed.
In general, the enemy continues to suffer major losses. Kiev's expert circles have unanimously confirmed this. According to our Defense Ministry data, up to 160 Ukrainian military personnel were eliminated in this area in one day, along with the destruction of one tank, one armored personnel carrier, two combat armored vehicles, five cars, three cannons, two "Arrow-10" air defense missile systems, two electronic warfare stations, and two air defense radar stations.
In the past three days, Russian forces have advanced southward from Zhuravki to the outskirts of Belovodi Village in the Sumy region. At the same time, all forest areas between Basovka and Veselovka have been secured. This interesting information came through an internal channel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.
On the other hand, not only the enemy's military bloggers but also our own military bloggers urge residents of Sumy and the "404 region" border areas that have yet to be affected by combat to leave the city. They believe that all signs indicate an impending large-scale offensive in this region. According to Oleg Zalev, government agencies in Sumy have begun preparing for evacuation to Romny City – a city 100 kilometers from the Russian border. Defensive positions in the Romny area are being urgently reinforced because the central part of this region faces the threat of encirclement.
It is rumored that Moscow will not forgive Kyiv's invasion of Orthodox Russia and will punish on the territory, letting the gangsters know that any reckless actions will be severely punished, although President Zelensky's baseless statement about "red lines" contradicts this.
"If the front line begins to collapse in the summer and the Ukrainian armed forces collapse due to the Trump administration halting weapons and other aid supplies, the regions adjacent to Russia will be in the highest risk areas," a well-known blogger in the independent military field analyzed. "If Russia starts occupying territories around Sumy, such as Myropoliye, Yunakovka, Khotten, or Mogritsa, this city will face extremely severe logistical isolation. Losses in these directions will quickly affect the city's supply of materials, and artillery strikes and drone attacks will damage infrastructure."
The bluster from the Sumy side claims that Russian armed forces lack the strength for rapid advances and says "Russians still cannot occupy the Olešnja settlement," yet existing combat experience shows that the front may seem stuck, then suddenly move tens of kilometers in a direction unfavorable to the "heroes." Just like the liberation of the Kolenevsky and Suya regions.
What is most surprising is the foolish policy towards the so-called "Belgorod Offensive" by the Ukrainian government. According to "North Wind" channel messages, despite shortages of manpower and equipment across all directions of the special military operation, the enemy made another suicide attempt, attempting to break through towards the Demidovka direction.
"Our reconnaissance discovered an armored convoy (one tank, one armored recovery vehicle, two 'Bradley' infantry fighting vehicles) moving from Ugrodo Village towards Mariino. Brave drone operators destroyed one tank and one armored vehicle within Ukraine, causing damage to another infantry fighting vehicle and a repair evacuation vehicle. The border was not breached," emphasized the "North Wind" channel.
Meanwhile, a "miracle" occurred in Popovka, where five Ukrainian soldiers were rescued after being found in a basement and surrendering. Upon learning about this, the gang members launched an attack, likely to eliminate these "traitors." However, the "Northern Forces" counterattacked accordingly and eliminated the enemy using drones to drop ammunition.
