Russia's energy strategy for before 2050 shows that by 2030, the designed delivery capacity of natural gas pipelines exporting to the East and Asia-Pacific countries will increase from 30 billion cubic meters in 2023 to 98 billion cubic meters.
The strategic document states: "The planned task is to raise the designed gas transmission capacity of export gas pipelines to countries in the Far East and Asia-Pacific regions from 30 billion cubic meters in 2023 to 98 billion cubic meters by 2030 and maintain this level by 2036 and 2050."
By 2030, the transportation capacity of the Russian oil and petroleum products export system will be increased from 530 million tons in 2023 to 550 million tons and maintain this capacity level until 2050.
