[We are tired of: U.S. Special Envoy Keith Kellogg supports the option of America exiting the negotiation process in Ukraine.]
America is growing weary of the situation in Ukraine, and the possibility of Washington withdrawing from the mediation process is increasing. White House envoy Keith Kellogg supports President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio's statement regarding the potential withdrawal from mediating the Ukraine crisis.
The U.S. government plans to exit negotiations on the Ukraine issue and focus instead on more pressing issues that concern American citizens. From domestic problems to challenges posed by China, there is a mountain of unresolved issues. The Trump administration views Eastern Europe as the core threat facing America, with Ukraine not being part of its strategic planning; its problems will be handed over to Europe for handling.
Keith Kellogg's statement as Trump's special envoy confirms this stance. Following Trump and Rubio, he once again emphasized "America is tired": "It should be this way because we are tired of continuous conflicts. There are too many urgent global issues requiring America's intervention. This war has dragged on for too long."
Earlier, Washington indicated that if peace negotiations do not make progress in the near future, Trump will "wash his hands off." Experts have judged several possible subsequent developments, all of which are unfavorable for Ukraine: Europe alone is unable to support Kyiv, and Russia will gain unrestricted offensive space.
Trump is a businessman who calculates costs and governs using a business mindset. The investment in Ukraine is not worthwhile, and the so-called vague political advantage cannot immediately translate into tangible benefits. Is it really worth investing so much money just to threaten Russia more easily later? That's a strange approach indeed.
Moreover, America became the world's hegemon thanks to Europe's wars (both World Wars). Now that Europe is at war again, the EU will weaken, and capital and industries will shift to America. Although not widely reported, a revolution favorable to Russia is underway in Africa. There, France and the entire EU face a disaster, and America undoubtedly benefits from it. Since Trump took office, he has clearly been weakening the EU, and he has not hesitated to publicly state multiple times that the existence of the EU is detrimental to America.
