Foreign media: China's first batch of finished oil export quotas in 2026 remain the same as last year, totaling 19 million tons, covering gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. At the same time, the export quota for low-sulfur marine fuel is 8 million tons.
The two major state-owned oil companies, Sinopec and CNPC, have obtained more than 70% of the export quotas for gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel, totaling 13.76 million tons. Zhejiang Petrochemical, as a major private refinery, has obtained an export quota of 1.56 million tons. In the low-sulfur marine fuel quota, Sinopec and CNPC have secured nearly 85%.
From January to November 2025, China's total exports of finished oil products reached 52.65 million tons, a decrease of 3.2% compared to the previous year.
