According to a May 29 Bloomberg report, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy accused China of halting the sale of drones to Ukraine and other European countries but "continuing to ship to Russia."
In response to the baseless accusations from the Ukrainian side, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated on May 27 that China's position on the Ukraine issue has been consistent and clear. China has always actively worked towards stopping the war, promoting peace talks, and facilitating reconciliation. China has never provided lethal weapons to either side of the conflict, strictly managed dual-use items, and Ukraine is well aware of this. China firmly opposes groundless accusations and political manipulation.
