White House: The number of people illegally crossing the border in March set a new historical low.
In March, the Border Patrol encountered only 7,181 illegal immigrants at the southern border.
This represents a 95% decrease compared to 2024 (137,473 people), a 96% decrease compared to 2023 (163,672 people), and a 97% decrease compared to 2022 (211,181 people).
According to the *Los Angeles Times*, "immigrant transit activities in the California-Mexico border region have slowed almost to a halt," with border patrol personnel arresting "only 30 to 40 people per day... while during April, the peak period for immigrant arrivals in this area, the daily arrest count could reach over 1,200."
America is not hell, but it's certainly not a paradise for dreamers either!
