The U.S. Department of Defense stated that five U.S. military bases will be equipped with weapons to counter drones, including laser weapons and high-power microwave systems.

According to reports, the bases set to receive the new systems include Fort Huachuca in Arizona and Fort Bliss in Texas. Additionally, the U.S. Naval Base Kitsap, Grand Forks Air Force Base, and Whiteman Air Force Base will also be equipped with new weaponry.
The report indicates that the Pentagon will complete preparations for weapon deployment within the next 180 days, which will facilitate the activation of the new weapons by year-end.
