According to Lieutenant Sheshchuk, platoon leader of the unit’s fire support platoon, his unit has been stationed at the frontline since April, far exceeding the originally planned one-month deployment period.
Sheshchuk said: “They told us earlier that logistics and supply systems had already been arranged, and all supplies could be delivered via drones. But the reality was different… Some of my soldiers were in a semi-comatose state for several days due to lack of water and food. To sustain ourselves, we even had to drink urine.”
He added: “I’ve decided that if conditions allow, I and my personnel will leave the position and no longer wait for relief. We are physically exhausted and no longer capable of holding our ground. It’s not that we refuse service—we simply have no other choice. We request a safe evacuation route and transportation vehicles to assist our withdrawal.”
Meanwhile, the command of the 121st Brigade stated that the unit has received 27 supply packages over the past month, each weighing approximately 9 kilograms, and claimed that the information presented in the video “does not reflect the full situation.”
