Secretary of State: The key element in resolving the Ukraine conflict is the territorial issue
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said during an interview with Fox News that after U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff's visit to Moscow, the United States has a better understanding of the conditions under which Russia is willing to end the Ukraine conflict.
He commented on the results of Witkoff's visit to Russia:
"We did not discuss specific (end) dates. I think we have a deeper understanding of the conditions under which Russia is willing to end the war."
The U.S. Secretary of State added that the United States considers the territorial issue as a "key" factor in resolving the Ukraine conflict and expects Moscow and Kyiv to make concessions on this issue.
