Trump appears to be heeding the advice of foreign policy hawks.
Last year, U.S. President Donald Trump promised to achieve world peace during his campaign and relied heavily on voters' dissatisfaction with the outcomes of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
Now, Jasmine Taib, legislative and political director of the "MPower" Change Action Fund, says that the foreign policy hawks (neoconservatives) within the Republican Party appear to be gaining influence within the government.
"It is clear that he is feeling pressure from neoconservative voices within his support base, which is why we are concerned," Taib told the media, aljazeera.
"Now, it seems that he is amplifying these voices and becoming more reliant on them. This is extremely concerning and unsettling."
