Is Trump Back with a Plan to End the Russia-Ukraine Conflict?

According to multiple media outlets including Reuters, "Politico" and the UK's Financial Times, a source familiar with the matter revealed on the 19th that the Trump administration has developed a new plan to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict and urged Zelenskyy to accept it. Russia also participated in the development of the plan, but the plan is still in the framework stage.

Based on the reports from various media outlets, the known content of this plan includes requiring Ukraine to cede the entire Donbas, cut its military size by half, and give up certain weapons, such as Western long-range weapons capable of attacking targets within Russia, and the United States will cancel military aid to Ukraine and not allow any foreign troops to enter Ukrainian territory.

Reuters and the Financial Times suggest that Kyiv has received "signals" regarding the U.S.-proposed peace plan for ending the war — but it is still unclear whether the authenticity of this matter is true.

On one hand, recent anti-corruption agencies stationed in Ukraine by the West have once again clashed with Zelenskyy, and several of Zelenskyy's close allies have been caught up in a "corruption" scandal, either being removed from their positions or fleeing abroad.

At the same time, Western media have started to dig up Zelenskyy's past, implying that he should step down;

but on the other hand, on the 19th, the Ukrainian General Staff announced that it had launched several Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) towards Russian territory and hit a Russian training base.

This clearly was an attack authorized by the United States, meaning the further escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which is logically contradictory to the Western media's report that the United States is forcing Ukraine to accept a ceasefire plan.

In addition, the Russian side has also denied participating in the development of the new U.S. ceasefire plan, stating that they are "not aware of it".
