Ibrahim Azizi, Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran Parliament, issued a warning on X: "If the US attacks Iran, the relatives of American soldiers deployed to the battlefield will immediately become targets of retaliation."

"If the US commits an error based on this stubborn president's wrong calculation, let its soldiers in the region say goodbye to their families."

This tough warning came after Donald Trump mentioned the possibility of attacking Iran.

Previously reported, in mid-June last year, Israel launched an attack on military targets of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Subsequently, both sides attacked each other within 12 days, with the US also participating — conducting a surprise attack on Iran's nuclear facilities on the night of June 22. In response, Tehran launched a missile attack on the US airbase in Udeid, Qatar on June 23. After that, all parties reached a ceasefire agreement.

Reza Talaieeni, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Defense, said that after the 12-day war with Israel, Iran has strengthened its missile defense system.
