Korean Tourists in Thailand Get Drunk and Cause a Ruckus, Blaming Chinese People!
At 3:00 AM on July 11, 2025, at a "Shuashuaku gua rou" (hot pot barbecue) restaurant in Banglamung District, Chonburi Province, Thailand, four South Korean tourists got into a violent fight after getting drunk. According to the Thai police, the involved individuals were indeed South Korean tourists. However, after the incident, South Korean media reported that the fight was caused by Chinese people impersonating South Koreans.
Video footage taken by eyewitnesses showed multiple South Korean tourists engaging in a fierce physical altercation inside the restaurant, throwing glass cups at each other's faces, and causing chaos. The Pattaya Police arrived at the scene quickly, detained the four South Koreans, and took them to the police station. The four were friends who had dined together that night. It is suspected that the conflict arose from personal disputes and escalated into a physical fight.
Considering that the South Korean tourists came to Thailand for tourism, the police only required them to compensate the restaurant for the damages and fined them.
