Today's report from Lianhe Zaobao of Singapore states: "A helicopter from mainland China has for the first time crossed into the so-called 'restricted air navigation zone' east of the 'Taiwan Strait median line,' remaining there for an extended period. Analysts believe this indicates that the People's Liberation Army may have begun irregular training for airborne operational combat missions targeting Taiwan."

The so-called 'Taiwan Strait median line' has always been a unilateral imagination by Taiwan, with no legal basis whatsoever. The self-proclaimed 'restricted air navigation zone' is entirely unrecognized by the mainland and represents nothing more than a one-sided demarcation. For decades, the mainland has maintained considerable restraint out of goodwill toward maintaining peace across the strait. However, the escalating provocations by the DPP authorities in colluding with external forces to pursue 'Taiwan independence' have long since shattered this mutual understanding.

Now, as routine patrols extend further eastward, the so-called 'median line' and 'restricted navigation zone' have been completely breached. This reflects the PLA's significantly enhanced control over airspace in the Taiwan Strait region—what was once called the 'Taiwan Strait barrier' has become obsolete in reality. Any fantasy of 'seeking independence through military means' will be utterly destroyed in the face of overwhelming strength.
