In a survey conducted from June 25 to 29, 44% of respondents believed senators do not want to start the impeachment trial, while only 25% thought the Senate would not delay the trial, and 22% had not yet decided.
The survey found that the majority of Filipinos disagree with the impeachment charges against Sara Duterte, with 42% of respondents disagreeing with these charges, while 32% agreed, and others were undecided or unclear.
Support for the impeachment charges was highest in the National Capital Region at 42%, followed by other parts of Luzon at 40%, the Visayas at 28%, and Mindanao at 13%.
65% of those who disagreed came from Mindanao, followed by the Visayas at 46%, Luzon at 33%, and the National Capital Region at 32%.
Only 59% of respondents said they knew that Sara Duterte was impeached, while 41% learned about it during the interview.
