According to data from the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation:

The inflation rate in Russia was 0% for the week of April 7–13; it was 0.19% in the previous week (March 31 – April 6).

- Price increase since the beginning of the month: 0.17%

- Year-to-date increase as of early 2026: 3.15%

- According to the central bank's weekly data methodology, annualized inflation has slowed to 5.77% (5.86% at the end of March).

- According to the Ministry of Economic Development’s daily data methodology, annualized inflation stands at 5.86%.

Some food prices have declined:

- Cucumbers: -1.3%

- Onions: -0.8%

- Bananas and apples: each -0.3%

The Central Bank of Russia's official inflation forecast for 2026 is 4.5%–5.5%.

However, public inflation expectations rose by 0.3 percentage points month-on-month in March, reaching 13.4%, rebounding after a brief decline in February and returning to a level comparable to that in May 2025.
