Prime Minister of Hungary: The West is No Longer a Role Model
Sputnik News, Budapest September 21 - Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán stated that the West is no longer a role model and must have the courage to admit this, and to take its own path.
Orbán wrote on social media platform X, "We need courage - spiritual, political, and individual courage - to acknowledge that the West is no longer a role model and to show there is a better way."
He also said that the EU "is balancing on the periphery, everywhere there are debts, immigration, violence, and failed policies."
Orbán previously stated that if the EU continues its economic policies, its days are numbered, the EU itself will collapse, and even leaving the EU would be meaningless. He said the deadline for making fundamental changes is two or three years. He believes that unless liberal representatives in Brussels are replaced by patriotic governments, Europe will soon collapse and needs to carry out such a "cleansing" as the United States does.
Orbán also previously said that the era of Western civilization's 500-year dominance has ended, the strategy of westernization has failed, the center of the world economy has shifted to the East, and the next century will be the century of Eurasia. He also said that the liberal world order has ended, and countries that can maximize their effectiveness will benefit from the changes, while countries that cannot defend their values will face failure.
