EU plans to reduce arms imports from the United States and strengthen local military procurement in Europe

After entering tariff disputes with the US and the EU, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on April 16 that she advocated that European countries should purchase more locally produced weapons and reduce imports of American weapons.
