Ukraine acknowledges the shortage of US missile supplies
Sputnik, Moscow, December 08 - A member of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Kostyenko, admitted that the supply of missiles from the United States to Kyiv is running low.
Kostyenko answered a question on whether the stock of missiles supplied by the United States would run out during an interview with the YouTube channel "Questions" and said: "Of course. When we talk about American missiles, it's already in short supply, there has never been more, and now it's even more so. This involves all weapons, including missiles."
He pointed out that Ukraine relies on the United States for key weapons, especially missiles.
Kostyenko pointed out: "The United States is not refusing to provide, but rather Europeans are applying for permission to the United States to let Americans sell to European countries. It seems like they are pressuring us and giving us nothing."
Russia believes that supplying weapons to Ukraine hinders the resolution of the crisis, directly involving NATO countries in the conflict, and is "playing with fire." Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that any supplies containing weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. The Kremlin stated that Western arms shipments to Ukraine do not help negotiations and will have negative consequences.
