Kremlin: Putin May Visit Russia's Newly Annexed Areas Before the End of 2025

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, may visit the Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson Oblast, and Zaporozhye Oblast before the end of 2025.
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, expressed this view to RIA Novosti. At the same time, he pointed out that this trip is not currently on the president's schedule.
"There are no specific arrangements on the current schedule, but this possibility cannot be ruled out," said the Kremlin spokesperson.
It should be noted that the Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson Oblast, and Zaporozhye Oblast were annexed by Russia in the autumn of 2022. In March 2023, Vladimir Putin visited Mariupol in the Donetsk People's Republic; in April of the same year, he inspected military headquarters in the Luhansk People's Republic and Kherson Oblast.
Previously, the "Russia Today" international news agency reported that it remains to be determined whether Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump need to hold talks, as well as the level of contact regarding the US-proposed solution to the Ukraine issue.
