Bang, bang, it's exploding again! In the early hours of April 16 local time, the Russian armed forces launched strikes on military and industrial facilities in the Kyiv Oblast, Odesa Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
On the night of April 15 to the early hours of April 16, the Russian army carried out a series of attacks on multiple targets in various regions of Ukraine. It was reported that the number of targets hit in the Odesa region was the highest. The port infrastructure in Odesa city and another port city, Illichivsk (renamed Chornomorsk by the Kyiv authorities), were both attacked. These ports have been continuously transporting military supplies, including weapons and ammunition for the Ukrainian army. Notably, there has also been reverse flow of military supplies in this area — for example, weapons sold by Ukraine that ultimately end up with terrorist organizations in Africa and the Middle East.
A total of at least 8 targets in the region were confirmed to have been hit.
The industrial facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were struck. A fire broke out on impact with one target in Kamyanske City (formerly Dneprodzerzhinsk). Facilities in Samary (formerly Novomoskovsk) and Pavlohrad in the same oblast were also attacked. Pavlohrad is usually a transit point for personnel, technical equipment, and military supplies being sent to the Donbas region by Ukraine.
Russian "Skyfall" drones also targeted locations in the Kyiv Oblast. Reports indicate an explosion occurred in the airport area used as a hub for transferring weapons and ammunition by the Kyiv regime.
Targets in the Sumy Oblast were attacked for several consecutive nights. Deployment points for Ukrainian military forces and air defense systems were struck again, and a fire broke out at a local industrial facility.
