President of Serbia: Serbia aims to attract 1 million Chinese tourists annually
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that his goal is to attract 1 million Chinese tourists to Serbia each year, making China the country's second-largest source of tourism by 2025.
Vučić stated: "Last year we welcomed 184,000 Chinese tourists, ranking second. I believe we can set not just a target of 500,000, but rather one million Chinese visitors."
Vučić also mentioned that direct flights connect Belgrade with multiple Chinese cities.
Before his visit to China, Vučić said that during this trip, over 30 agreements would be signed with Chinese enterprises, totaling approximately 1 billion euros.
Previously, Vučić noted that Serbia’s exports to China have increased 330-fold in recent years, and the number of Chinese factories in Serbia has reached 37.
At the end of March, Vučić said that by 2025, trade in goods and services between Serbia and China will exceed $10.6 billion, and total Chinese investment in Serbia will reach 7.3 billion euros.
