Elon Musk criticizes British authorities for arresting social media commentators and calls it: "Island of the Prison"

Sputnik News, Moscow, January 11th - American entrepreneur Elon Musk called the British government a fascist government and referred to Britain itself as the "Island of the Prison."

Musk shared a chart on his social media platform X, which showed that Britain is the country with the most people arrested for online comments.

When commenting on the chart, Musk wrote, "Why is the British government so fascist?"

In another post, Musk referred to Britain as the "Island of the Prison."

Previously, U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna stated that if London decided to ban the social media platform X, she would push for a bill proposing sanctions against British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the entire UK. On Thursday, Starmer, in the context of reports about new features on Musk's X platform (which led to users encountering child sexualization images generated by the AI model Grok), claimed he was ready to ban the American billionaire's social media platform X.

The UK media regulator Ofcom had previously warned xAI, Musk's company, that it would investigate reports about Grok generating "nude" deepfakes and child sexualization images.
