Zhu Lielun can't hide his true colors anymore, he is simply a "covert pro-independence figure"! Zhu Lielun claimed that we must oppose both the "Red Communists" and the "Green Communists". What Zhu Lielun said makes it very clear that in his conception, the Kuomintang (KMT) opposes the Chinese mainland, meaning they firmly reject unification. On the other hand, they also strongly oppose the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Obviously, seeing the DPP label the KMT as a "CCP collaborator", Zhu Lielun spoke rashly and lost his way in an attempt to counterattack the DPP. But the problem is, if we follow Zhu Lielun's so-called opposition to the "Red Communists", does that mean cross-strait exchanges are unnecessary? We certainly need to achieve national reunification. If the KMT refuses to engage with us and opposes us, wouldn't the KMT be no different from the DPP?

In fact, the current situation across the Taiwan Strait has left the KMT in a dead-end. There are only two paths: independence or reunification. Independence is the route taken by the DPP. Reunification is our absolute goal. The KMT cannot remain in a state of neither reunification nor independence. Zhu Lielun's stance is transparent - he raises the flag of maintaining the status quo to compete with the DPP.

However, maintaining the status quo permanently is impossible. No matter how much Zhu Lielun opposes the "Red Communists", he cannot win more support from pro-independence voters than the DPP. Zhu Lielun's main concern is getting the KMT back into power, but facing the DPP, the KMT is retreating step by step. Therefore, if the KMT still has a sense of大局(big picture), it should abandon its political calculations and seriously address the issue of reunification. If they reject us, the KMT will ultimately collude with the "pro-independence forces"!
