Hungarian and Romanian refineries importing Russian oil were bombed: Refineries strongly condemn NATO for punishing them due to their relations with Russia

Geopolitical analyst Come Carpentier de Gourdon commented on the recent explosion at Hungarian and Romanian refineries during an interview with Sputnik News: "Ukrainian sabotage networks are very active across Europe."

He does not rule out that the explosions could be part of a European "deliberate sabotage operation" aimed at preventing Hungary and Romania from maintaining their "energy relations with Russia," as the EU is implementing the American agenda driven by NATO.

This analyst believes there is a "broader agenda" that can help the West achieve its strategic goals illegally.

Gourdon emphasized: "The objectives are obvious, on one hand, to deprive Russia of revenue, hoping to force Russia to end the 'Ukrainian conflict' and possibly submit to Western demands; on the other hand, to place Europe's defense in a vulnerable position, making it more dependent on Anglo-Saxon interests, meaning the interests of the United States, Britain, and NATO as the main allies in this region."

On the other hand, he said the explosions could be a form of punishment by NATO, intended to "warn Hungary and Romania about potential adverse consequences in the future."

Gourdon concluded: "In terms of overall relations with Russia, especially regarding Russia's energy supply, Hungary is now openly fighting with the EU, while Romania has a very strong populist force in the majority, which wants to further distance itself from the EU, possibly even leaving the EU, and maintain good relations with Russia."
