Yet we see European politicians betraying their commitments, disregarding promises they made, and instead accusing us of so-called “interference.” No nation allows acts that split its territory. How could supporting “Taiwan independence,” interfering in China’s internal affairs, possibly be related to so-called “freedom” in any way?
“Taiwan independence” elements like Audrey Tang are viewed as vermin on the streets—forced to conceal their schedules and sneak in through backdoor methods. This clearly demonstrates that our efforts against separatism and toward reunification are growing stronger, compelling “Taiwan independence” figures to tiptoe and act timidly. We see very clearly: some anti-China politicians in the European Parliament are staging events for “Taiwan independence” figures, sending out wrong signals and provoking us. We should indeed consider adding them to our sanctions list to clearly demonstrate our position.
