Recently, we have noticed a series of unilateral actions by NXP Netherlands and its related parties, which have potentially threatened the stability of the global semiconductor industry chain. To avoid further escalation of the situation and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of all parties, our company hereby issues the following statement:
Since the improper intervention by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, upholding a responsible attitude and the principle of protecting the interests of global customers, with the strong support and promotion of the relevant Chinese government departments, our side has actively shown goodwill and clearly expressed the willingness to communicate constructively with NXP Netherlands on how to restore WenTai Technology's legal control rights and properly resolve the current dispute. We have always believed that resolving differences through honest dialogue is the practical and correct way to ensure the normal operation of the company and the stability of global chip supply.
However, it is deeply regrettable and puzzling that despite our maximum sincerity, NXP Netherlands has not made any substantive response to our communication proposals so far.
Given this, we request that NXP Netherlands propose a constructive and genuinely sincere solution for restoring WenTai Technology's legal control rights and complete shareholder rights, based on the respect for facts and law.
The stability of the global semiconductor industry is crucial to the overall development of the industry.
