On April 6, the UK's Daily Mail reported, citing security experts, that in view of the so-called "invasion threat" from Russia and the possible power outage situation, UK residents should prepare a survival kit that can last for 72 hours. Experts gave such advice out of concern that Russia might sabotage energy pipelines. The report stated that the UK is trying to achieve the goal of zero greenhouse gas emissions, so many coal-fired power plants in the country have been shut down, and now the UK relies on imported natural gas and electricity. Meanwhile, about 40% of the UK's natural gas is imported via the "Langyeer" pipeline from Norway.

The report said, "Given that the UK narrowly avoided a power outage last winter, only managing to do so with emergency reserves and electricity imported from...
