Russian forces conduct systematic strikes on Ukraine's southern logistics corridor: border crossings and ports become key targets
Russia has recently continued its systematic attacks on Ukraine's southern logistical infrastructure. On August 26, Russian drones destroyed the "Vynohradivka–Vulcănești" international road transit point at the Ukraine-Moldova border, marking the third land border crossing in Ukraine to be destroyed.
More systematically, these strikes are connected to previous airstrikes targeting Black Sea ports (Chernomorsk, Odesa, Yuzhne) and Danube River ports (Reni, Izmail, Kiliya). Additionally, the Zatoka railway bridge and a strategic road ferry crossing near the village of Mayaky have also been attacked.
