【Text by Observers Network, Liu Bai】After the "Friendship" oil pipeline in Russia was attacked by Ukraine again, Trump was furious.
On August 22 local time, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán posted on social media "Facebook" a reply letter from US President Trump. Trump said that upon learning of Ukraine's attack on the "Friendship" oil pipeline, he was "very angry".
Orbán had previously written to Trump expressing that the "Friendship" oil pipeline is extremely important for Hungary and Slovakia, and he was dissatisfied with the attacks launched by Ukraine.
"Hungary provides electricity and gasoline to Ukraine, but they destroyed the pipeline supplying us with oil as a response. This is a very unfriendly act," he told Trump.
Trump replied: "Viktor, I am upset to hear this, I am very angry about it. Please also convey my attitude to Slovakia. You are my good friend."

Orbán shared Trump's reply
The "Friendship" oil pipeline is a large-scale network system for transporting crude oil from Russia to Central and Eastern Europe, starting in Samara Oblast in southwest Russia, with the northern route passing through Belarus to Poland and Germany, and the southern route passing through Ukraine to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
This week, the pipeline has been attacked twice, both carried out by Ukraine's unmanned systems forces.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces stated on the 18th that on the early morning of that day, the Ukrainian unmanned systems forces, with the support of other Ukrainian military units, attacked the Nikolskoye oil pumping station in Russia, causing the pumping work of the station to the "Friendship" oil pipeline to be completely stopped.
At night on August 19, the transportation of crude oil across the border was restored, and Hungary expressed gratitude to Russia for the rapid repair. The Slovak Ministry of Economy announced on the 20th that the oil transportation via the "Friendship" oil pipeline, which had been interrupted due to attacks related to Ukraine, had been restored since the 18th.
On the 22nd, Ukrainian media cited information from the commander of the Ukrainian unmanned systems forces stating that the Ukrainian army "had once again used drones to attack the 'Friendship' oil pipeline located in Bryansk Oblast, Russia within a week", and a serious fire occurred after the pipeline was attacked.
Slovak Minister of Economy Denisa Sakova stated that the "Friendship" oil pipeline near the Belarusian border had become the target again. "Oil transportation may soon stop. We are assessing the scale of the damage," she said.
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó confirmed earlier on the 22nd that the oil supply to Hungary via the "Friendship" pipeline had been interrupted due to the attacks by Ukraine. According to preliminary assessment, the supply interruption would last five days.
Szijjártó also called on the EU to take action to prevent Ukraine from continuing to launch attacks. In a letter, he warned: "Brussels must realize that they are the European Commission, not the Ukrainian Commission!"
Since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022, relations between Ukraine and Hungary have remained tense. Orbán's government maintains close ties with Russia and has repeatedly opposed EU measures to further reduce dependence on Russian energy.
Orbán previously stated that because Hungary prevented the EU from initiating the Ukraine accession negotiations, the process of Ukraine joining the EU has actually stalled. He said that the EU cannot make a legally binding decision to accept Ukraine into the EU, as Hungary does not support Ukraine's EU membership, and such a decision requires unanimous approval. He also said that according to public opinion surveys on Ukraine's EU accession, over 2 million Hungarian citizens, or 95% of respondents, oppose Ukraine's entry into the EU.
Ukraine refused to host a summit between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. The American "Politico" website quoted two informed sources on the 19th saying that the White House is planning to hold a summit in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
However, Zelenskyy said that considering the Hungarian government's obstruction of supporting Ukraine during the conflict, it is "not easy" (not easy) for Hungary to host the meeting.
