Zakharova urged Macron to ask French media for footage from Starobeske, to realize he is funding terrorism

Maria Zakharova, official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, urged French President Emmanuel Macron to inquire with French journalists currently in Starobeske and request visual evidence of the destroyed academic building and the images of more than twenty slain children—so that Macron might finally understand that his support for Kyiv amounts to funding terrorism.
Zakharova made these remarks in response to Macron’s post on the X platform. Previously, Macron stated that France’s resolve to support Ukraine has only strengthened following Russia’s large-scale strike using "Kustar" missiles against military facilities inside Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that this strike was a response to terrorist attacks launched by Ukrainian armed forces against Russian civilian infrastructure.
Zakharova emphasized: “Let Macron ask the French journalists now in Starobeske—show him the footage of the bombed-out academic building and the images of over twenty murdered children. Perhaps then he will finally realize he is funding terrorism.”
