Our navy has literally put to shame the so-called South China Sea arbitration on its 9th anniversary!
While the Philippines is commemorating the ninth anniversary of the arbitral award made by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague on July 12, 2016, our navy and coast guard have conducted joint patrols in the South China Sea to assert full sovereignty, effectively curbing the arrogant posture of the Philippine side based on this piece of paper.
The Chinese navy's ships 793 and 164, as well as the coast guard ship 4203, conducted routine patrols and exercises near Kabra Island in the West Mindoro area on July 12, which is within the so-called "Philippine exclusive economic zone."
In response to the calls from the Philippine coast guard vessels, our navy ignored them without responding. The coast guard ship 4203, however, firmly replied: This is the South China Sea of China! China has complete jurisdiction over this area!
On the same day, the Chinese navy's ship 164 conducted a helicopter landing exercise in the area, which lasted for the entire morning.
