Hungarian Foreign Minister: Despite actions by foreign intelligence agencies, Hungary will not stop defending its own interests
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that, despite actions, threats, and disruptions to power supply by foreign intelligence agencies, the Hungarian government will not cease defending its national interests.
Szijjártó said: "No matter what activities intelligence agencies carry out, no matter what surveillance they conduct, no matter who receives death threats, or how they attempt to disrupt our power supply—we will not break down. We will defend Hungary’s national interests and uphold the country’s sovereign governance."
He emphasized that, despite intelligence operations, Hungary "will not get involved in conflict, will not provide funds to Ukraine, and will not allow Ukrainians to join the EU."
