India continues to increase its oil imports from Russia after the US imposes new sanctions!

Despite the new and stricter sanctions imposed by the US, India is still increasing its oil imports from Russia during the time gap in the sanctions.

According to ship tracking data from Kpler and OilX, India's crude oil imports from Russia increased from 1.44 million barrels per day in September to 1.48 million barrels per day in October. This data does not include petroleum exported from Kazakhstan to Russia.

Kpler analysts expect that Russia's oil exports to India will not decline before November 21, which is the deadline set by the US for ceasing transactions with Russia.
