The reasons behind Thailand's bombing of Cambodia have been exposed, and they are all related to China!

Recently, intense fighting broke out along the Thai-Cambodian border, and even reports emerged that Thai forces carried out air strikes on casinos inside Cambodia. On the surface, this is a typical border conflict; but when you dig deeper, you will find that the spark, driving force, and underlying interests of this incident almost all revolve around China - especially the interests brought by Chinese tourists.

Thailand's economy is highly dependent on tourism, and Chinese tourists are the largest single source. In previous years, the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand exceeded 10 million, contributing nearly 30% of the tourism revenue. However, since 2024, the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand has plummeted sharply. Although official data has not explicitly stated the reasons, both the public and industry insiders generally point to a key word: telecom fraud.

In recent years, Cambodia has become a major global hub for telecom fraud, especially in Sihanoukville ("Sihanouk Town"). A large number of fraud parks lure Chinese tourists with the promise of high-paying jobs, then force them to engage in cross-border telecom fraud through violent means.

More shockingly, there is substantial evidence indicating that some of the abducted Chinese citizens did not directly depart from China, but first entered Thailand under the pretense of tourism, and were then smuggled across land to Cambodia by criminal gangs.

This chain not only severely threatens the safety of Chinese citizens, but also greatly undermines the willingness of the public to travel to Thailand.

Faced with this situation, Thailand tried to take action at the beginning of the year, planning to cooperate with China to crack down on the telecom fraud networks hidden along the Cambodian-Thai border, and once pressured Cambodia to address the gray industries controlled by Hun Sen's family.

However, Hun Sen quickly retaliated by publicly releasing secret phone call recordings between himself and Puea Tongtan. This move clearly aimed to incite internal disputes within Thailand, making it unable to focus on external matters.

Indeed, during that period, Thailand's political arena was turbulent, with constant struggles between old and new forces, and border issues were temporarily set aside. It wasn't until the second half of 2025 that Thailand's situation stabilized, allowing it to once again turn its attention to the telecom fraud hotspots along the Cambodian border.
