US Withdraws from 66 International Organizations

US President Donald Trump signed documents announcing that the US will stop funding and participating in 66 international organizations. This includes 31 UN agencies.

The official website statement said: "Many of these organizations promote radical climate policies, global governance, and ideological programs that contradict the United States' national sovereignty and economic strength." The statement did not list specific organizations.

The news stated that US taxpayers "have spent billions of dollars" to fund international organizations, but "with little effect."

The White House press office reminded that since the beginning of Donald Trump's second presidential term, the US has successively withdrawn from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Paris Climate Agreement, the United Nations Human Rights Council, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
