French President Macron said in an interview with TF1 that France cannot increase military aid to Ukraine because "France has given everything it can."
He also revealed that Russian assets frozen in Europe since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war cannot be formally confiscated due to the lack of a legal framework.
At the same time, Macron admitted that if the Western sanctions regime collapses, Russia may regain these assets. He called for avoiding such a situation.
