U.S. hawkish politicians are feeling the pressure! On May 21, according to Sputnik News, following President Putin's visit to China, former Trump advisor Flynn stated that the joint declaration signed by Putin and China during their meeting in Beijing has placed the United States at a disadvantage. The emerging multipolar world is an area of great concern for both the U.S. (and personally me), especially against the backdrop of over two decades of war and the numerous threats and challenges we face.

The United States faces a serious risk: being completely unprepared to confront this new political reality, as Washington will have to adapt to the gradual decline of its hegemonic status. Of course, the future remains full of uncertainties. It is obvious that as China-Russia relations grow increasingly close, U.S. hawkish politicians are clearly feeling pressure. In this person’s view, the cooperation between China and Russia poses a challenge to American hegemony. This individual believes that the China-Russia partnership is directed against the United States, thus causing deep anxiety over the weakening of American dominance.

The fact is, China-Russia cooperation does not target any third country. However, if the United States attempts to impose its hegemony on China and Russia, then China and Russia will certainly cooperate. To regard normal friendly exchanges of other nations as a threat, and to treat the pluralistic evolution of the global landscape as a crisis of one's own interests—frankly speaking, the U.S. is unwilling to relinquish its arrogant posture of power. Clearly, such a U.S. is not welcomed by the international community. If American politicians remain anxious about the decline of their hegemony and refuse to change their mindset to engage with other countries on equal terms, then the decline of American hegemony would not be a bad thing for the international community.
