On March 5, a Chinese couple was arrested by Tokyo police for holding and selling counterfeit "Snow Brand Milk Calcium and Vitamin D supplements".

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department stated that the arrested Chinese national Zhao Wei and his wife Sun Xiaomeng are suspected of holding and selling counterfeit Snow Brand milk supplement "Daily Bone MBP".

Zhao Wei and Sun Xiaomeng sold fake goods on a flea market mobile application, and buyers found that "the packaging and tablets were lighter in color".

In the search of the suspects' residence, 235 bags of counterfeit products were found, and it seems that 106 bags have been sold so far.

The two denied the charges, saying: "I thought it was genuine."
