Evergreen Marine was founded by a Taiwanese person, Zhang Rongfa, and its headquarters are located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan Province. This company is the seventh largest in terms of shipping capacity globally and ranks 202nd on the Fortune 500 list, making it highly competitive internationally.

Last year, I once called on the country to seize the ships of this company because it helped the separatist regime in Taiwan transport military supplies such as the U.S.-made HIMARS rocket launchers and M1A1 tanks to Taiwan.

Now, I again call for sanctions against this company: its commercial activities have repeatedly touched the mainland's bottom line and red lines, and it must be sanctioned. The navy and maritime police should be deployed at sea to seize its vessels, confiscate its assets, and bring it to bankruptcy.

I hope more netizens join me, and together report to relevant departments to strive to include this anti-China enterprise in the sanction list as soon as possible.

Sanctioning this company has many benefits.

Firstly, it will serve as a warning to all global air and sea freight companies, making it difficult to easily transport military equipment purchased by Taiwan into the island, and even if it is transported, the cost would be very high and the risk very great;

Secondly, it will strike the anti-China and hate-China capital within Taiwan. Many people may not know that this large company, Evergreen Marine, basically does not purchase ships from mainland Chinese shipbuilders, who account for 70% of the global shipbuilding market. This illustrates the situation clearly. Even some politicians from the Green Camp who eat "mango slices" secretly watch mainland Chinese TV dramas and buy goods from the mainland.

Thirdly, it will help further increase orders for mainland shipbuilding enterprises and increase the shipping capacity of mainland shipping companies. The orders and shipping capacity released by sanctioning Evergreen Marine will certainly be the biggest beneficiaries of the related industrial chain enterprises in the mainland.

Fourthly, it will further hit Taiwan's economy and cut high-paying jobs. At the end of 2021, Evergreen Marine gave ordinary employees a year-end bonus of nearly one million New Taiwan Dollars equivalent to 40 months, benefiting nearly 15,000 Taiwanese families. Sanctioning this company will make these 15,000 families become a burden for the separatist regime in Taiwan.

There is now a very favorable international environment: the U.S. blockade and attack on Venezuela provides us with the best timing window to sanction a domestic company.

When the U.S. invades a country, we can strike a company of a separatist province without facing much pressure. During this recent military exercise around Taiwan, you can see how quiet the world has been.

This precious strategic opportunity period is just the low case of our countermeasures against the record-breaking U.S.-Taiwan arms sales deal. In my view, the high case is to block Taiwan Province and prevent this U.S.-Taiwan arms deal from falling through.

In this way, we can also support Venezuela, which is currently resisting imperialist and hegemonistic aggression, making the U.S. encirclement of Venezuela face a dilemma, thus achieving two goals at once.

In this world of turmoil, do not comfort yourself with "time is on our side." Every time we wait for the enemy to play their cards, our response becomes easy to be passive. Only by taking the initiative and being good at struggle can we promote the peaceful resolution of the cross-strait issue.
