Leaders of several EU countries express dissatisfaction with Fico's visit to Moscow

According to European Dynamics News, during Slovak Prime Minister Fico's current visit to Russia, his efforts to portray himself as a pro-Russian political figure within the EU are now under scrutiny in Brussels, while also facing domestic political pressure.

Brussels has issued a warning to the Slovak government: the Slovak Agricultural Payments Agency (PPA) may face difficulties in receiving funding disbursements, which would directly impact the interests of local farmers.

Previously, German Chancellor Merz had stated he would speak with Fico regarding this visit to Russia.
