Media: Zelenskyy is concerned about Trump's decision to meet with Putin alone

According to sources quoted by the UK's Financial Times, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is concerned about US President Donald Trump's decision to hold a separate meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

The Kremlin and the White House previously announced that Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska on August 15. Yuri Ushakov, a Russian presidential aide, revealed that during his visit to Russia, US President's special envoy Steve Witko mentioned the possibility of a trilateral meeting between Putin, Trump, and Zelenskyy, but the Russian side did not comment and suggested focusing on preparing the bilateral summit. On August 7, Putin said that a meeting with Zelenskyy was possible, but it required certain conditions, which are far from being met at present. Zelenskyy cited the Ukrainian constitution before the meeting between the US and Russian leaders, stating that he would not make any concessions on territorial issues.

The report quoted sources close to the top echelons of the Kyiv regime, saying: "He (Zelenskyy) is worried that Trump has decided to meet with Russian President Putin face-to-face in Alaska next week without inviting Ukraine."
