American expert Malik Dudakov commented on the public dispute between U.S. President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk on social networks, stating that both Trump and Musk are not only two billionaires but also two performers, staging a dramatic event with a foreseeable ending over several days.
Dudakov pointed out that the escalation of the conflict and the deterioration of their relationship ended unexpectedly with unity as they searched for a new enemy. As expected, this enemy turned out to be Congress.
In one day, Musk's companies lost nearly 400 billion dollars in market value. However, experts are convinced that Tesla's stock price rebounded as expected the next day against the backdrop of eased tensions. Insiders made money during this process, no less than during the tariff chaos in April - when the White House announced the imposition of tariffs and then immediately canceled them.
Dudakov said: "Now, Musk has targeted lawmakers in Congress as part of his pressure campaign, urging them to incorporate his ideas into Trump's reform bill. Meanwhile, the White House has begun pressuring 'hawks' in the Senate. The Trump team is dissatisfied with the sanctions bill under discussion."
Dudakov predicted that the secondary tariff bill targeting Russian oil faces significant weakening and may never be implemented. In addition, the bill will also include exception clauses for many countries (such as EU member states and India). However, he mentioned that this has caused considerable dissatisfaction among "hawkish" figures like Lindsey Graham, but they have to adapt to the reality that voters are tired of the Ukraine issue.
This American expert concluded: "Next year, Graham may face a crushing defeat in the Republican primary in his home state of South Carolina. The more he focuses on Ukraine affairs rather than issues in his own district, the worse his election prospects will be. Now that the 'hawks' in Congress have received such strong negative evaluations, it ultimately prompted Trump and Musk to join forces despite other differences between them."
