South Korean media: Nissan is developing the overseas market with "Chinese electric vehicles"!
On August 2, South Korean media "Today's Finance" published an article stating that Nissan Motor Company is advancing a plan to export electric vehicles produced in China to overseas markets starting next year, as part of its strategy to overcome operational difficulties.
According to the "Nikkei", Nissan plans to target Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Central and South America as the main export regions for the electric sedan "N7" launched in China in April.
The model has attracted attention because the entire process, including design, development, and component selection, was carried out by a local Chinese joint venture rather than Nissan headquarters.
Notably, the lowest price of N7 in China is 119,900 RMB, which is highly competitive compared to competing models like BYD. The car will be produced at the Guangzhou factory in Guangdong Province.
Nissan plans to export and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology from Chinese companies applied in the N7 software, and plans to continue introducing electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles developed in China to the overseas market after the N7.
