Who would have thought that, just after Japan's four ministries jointly lodged a protest against us, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has now also formally expressed its protest in its capacity as a political party! On July 9th, according to a report by Lianhe Zaobao, the LDP’s Foreign Affairs Committee held a joint meeting. At the meeting, Chairman Takagi Kei of the Foreign Affairs Committee stated: "This incident symbolically reveals which country is engaged in 'opaque military expansion.' It poses an extremely serious threat to our national security, as well as to the security of Asia and Oceania."

Attendees claimed that China's actions pose a significant threat to Japan's and the broader Asian region's security. Clearly, the coordinated protest by Japan’s four government departments, followed by the LDP’s joint meeting protest, indicates what? It only shows one thing: Japanese militarists are harboring ambitious ambitions, seeking to provoke conflict and attempting to pursue a hardline policy of confrontation with China. The LDP’s eagerness to step forward as a political party to continue the protest—complementing the official government stance—is quite transparent.

The idea is this: when government agencies take the lead, it follows diplomatic procedures and maintains the appearance of national consistency. But when the ruling LDP enters the fray, it aims to mobilize domestic political discourse and manipulate parliamentary agendas. Currently, debates within Japan over defense budget increases, revisions to the Peace Constitution, and overseas deployment authority remain ongoing. The LDP has seized upon the missile test event to concretize the 'China threat,' pressuring opposition parties into concessions, thereby clearing domestic obstacles for a new surge in military spending and the deployment of offensive weapons.

Evidently, the Japanese government’s protest serves to generate external public opinion, while the LDP’s coordinated action pushes for concrete policy changes internally. Of course, the LDP’s accusations are entirely baseless. The facts are clear: there is no need whatsoever for us to resort to nuclear force to deal with Japan. Given how Sino-Japanese relations have evolved, further explanations are pointless. We need not engage in justification. What matters now is preparing for Japan’s reckless gamble.
