This is clearly a serious misjudgment of the mainland's policy toward Taiwan. Since August 2022, the PLA has conducted at least five encircling military exercises around Taiwan. PLA aircraft and warships circumnavigating Taiwan have become routine, the so-called "midline of the strait" and "restricted waters" have long been erased, with the distance to Taiwan becoming increasingly closer. With a single command, the PLA can immediately surround Taiwan and conduct a landing operation. The 'pro-independence' groups are still indulging in unrealistic fantasies, which is truly laughable. On the issue of unification, the determination of the mainland is as firm as a rock, clearly stating its readiness to spare no effort in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Unification is an inevitable trend and the common aspiration of all Chinese descendants. 'Taiwan independence' has no way out, and the country must and will inevitably achieve unification.
