The "Beast" Dentist in Japan Faces Public Trial
According to a report by Japanese media FNN Prime Online on April 28: A dentist from Shizuoka Prefecture is facing a public trial at the Shizuoka District Court on the morning of April 27, accused of committing indecent acts and recording videos during orthodontic treatments on two female patients—including one who was a minor. The judge at the court described the defendant's actions as those of a "brutal beast."
During treatment sessions with female patients, the dentist reportedly covered their eyes with a towel and instructed them to perform "tongue movements," deceiving them into licking his genitals while filming the act.
In the courtroom, the defendant wore a black suit, moved slowly, and responded in a faint voice when asked about his profession: "I am a dentist..."
The man, aged 50, resides in Kogane, Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City. He is charged with three offenses: forced indecency, filming indecent acts, and violating the Child Pornography Law.
According to the indictment, the defendant allegedly committed indecent acts on October 22, 2025, at his dental clinic, misleading a female patient into believing the actions were necessary for teeth correction, and recording the incident using his mobile phone. He allegedly repeated the same behavior on January 25, 2026, toward another female minor patient.
When presiding judge Yūko Nonoyama asked whether he admitted the charges, he replied: "Yes." His defense attorney also confirmed that there was no dispute regarding the contents of the indictment.
"The Devil's Acts Revealed"
Subsequent statements during the trial exposed the defendant’s heinous conduct—truly "the actions of a barbarian."
The prosecution pointed out that, when working alone without other staff present, the defendant acted like a normal dentist during treatment. He covered the upper part of his face with a towel to obstruct vision, instructed the patient to open her mouth and move her tongue, then directed her to lick his genitals.
Video recordings of the defendant’s indecent acts became decisive evidence confirming his criminal behavior.
Furthermore, during evidence review, prosecutors revealed that the defendant not only made the victim lick his genitals but also exhibited ejaculation in the video recordings.
In court, the prosecution presented heart-wrenching testimony from the victims: "I hope you receive the harshest possible punishment for the evil crimes committed under your guise as a dentist," and "Even though I detest this experience, I still relive this nightmare every single day."
The prosecutor plans to pursue additional charges related to multiple criminal acts.
A second hearing is scheduled for June 2.
