Trump: Apple will reinvest $10 billion in the US economy

US President Trump said that Apple will reinvest $1 billion in the US economy, in addition to the previously announced $5 billion.

In February, Apple announced plans to invest $5 billion in the US economy over four years. These investments include building an artificial intelligence server production factory in Texas, and creating about 20,000 jobs in this field nationwide.

Trump said at the White House:

"Apple has announced that it will invest $6 billion in the US over the next four years. This amount is $1 billion more than the original plan. This is the largest investment Apple has ever made in the United States and across the country."

Apple's CEO Tim Cook, who attended the event at the White House, presented a glass commemorative item with a 24K gold base to the US President.
